It is my JOY and honor to create commissioned songs that express love and care, that celebrate important achievements or life moments, and that offer blessing, protection, and encouragement.

I love to use my gift for music and songwriting to help foster love and connection.  I consciously weave blessing and Reiki energy into every song I make – so there’s even more to these songs than words and music!  They carry love and spirit, and YOU are woven into the song, too.

This is a very special and meaningful gift to share with the people you love.

Description

How will we work together?

After you’ve made your payment, I will get in touch by email to schedule a phone call.  I’ll ask you questions about your intention for the song and about the recipient (this can be you or someone else).  I’ll get to work on your song right away, and you will receive your recording within two weeks of our conversation.

How will the song sound?

I am influenced by folk music and Celtic music (the music of Ireland and Scotland).  My style is warm, melodic, piano-rich, and emotional without being sentimental.  I prioritize grace and clarity in the words, and strong melody and delicious harmony in the music.

There will be words, right?

Yes!  I will listen to you, take notes, and shape your story and ideas into poetry that fits, hand-in-glove, with the music.

How will the song be recorded?

I will record the song myself on my beautiful K Kawaii baby grand piano.  I’ll use Garageband which produces clear, rich recordings.  Please note:  these commissioned songs are not mixed and mastered (that can be arranged for an additional fee).  They are perfect for downloading, burning onto a disk, using in a digital slideshow, or playing at your celebration.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes and no.  Once we have talked and you have signed off on the intention and theme of the song, I will invest several hours in creating your song.  I will absolutely agree to changing a few words here or there and re-recording the song.  However, because of the time and effort involved, I cannot create a whole new song.

Do you offer refunds?

No, I’m afraid I can’t offer refunds once you have downloaded the song.  But let me assure you:  I will do all I can to make sure that you love your song!  I want us both to be delighted and proud of this new song as it flies into the world.
